SOC.I.TRA.S. (Italian Society of Road Traumatology), established in 1984, is a cultural, apolitical and non-profit association, whose aim is to foster, in Italy and abroad, medical sciences and its interdisciplinary branches in the field of road traffic and related issues, through national and international congresses, scientific and didactic publications, prize awards and study grants. It organizes specialization courses focused on Road Traumatology in Italy and abroad, and on AIS methodology to classify severity of traumatic injuries
