Internet Society of Orthopaedic Surgery and Trauma (ISOST)

The mission of the Society is to improve the quality of orthopaedic information on the Internet by providing a gateway, at all levels, to patient information, teaching material, CME, current research and discussion, by posting high quality orthopaedic content, by attracting onto the Internet a wider range of material and by setting standards for content quality.

Iranian Orthopaedic Association was founded first in 1963 by few members just graduated and returned home. Following a period of latency about 15 years it was reestablished on 1992. The number of members reaching 400 and is growing rapidly. The association is directed by a board elected biannually.

LifeNet was founded in 1982 to address the need for human organs and tissues for transplant.

The National Brachial Plexus/Erb's Palsy Association, Inc., strives to educate, inform, and assist those affected by Brachial Plexus Palsy by offering information, contacts, resources, parent matching, and assistance developing chapters or support groups through out the United States.

The National Confidential Enquiry into Perioperative Deaths (NCEPOD) is a registered charity whose aim is to review clinical practice and identify potentially remediable factors in the practice of anaesthesia, surgery and other invasive medical procedures. The aim is to look at the quality of the delivery of care and not specifically the causation of death. The commentary and recommendations made in the annual reports are based on peer review of the data, questionnaires and other records submitted to us. NCEPOD is not a research study based on differences against a control population and does not produce any kind of comparison between clinicians or hospitals.
